2 weeks ago, Ben Brinkman, Producer of MLB2k8, in a over the phone interview, commented on MLB 2k8’s frame rate. His statements reflected the opposite of what gamers were subjected to in the game.

I’m calling Ben Brinkman out on this. I can’t believe you wouldn’t know your game had frame rate issues 10 DAYS before it shipped. I believe you deliberately lied to gamers about the games frame rate, and tried to cover it up by not letting the demo release before the game shipped.
If you knew your game had frame rate issues, why not take the high road, say you know the game has frame rate issues and say it would be patched later in the month. (as you are doing) However, by lying to your customers, you have hurt there trust to the point that most (like me) will not buy your game next year.
This week, Rockstar apologized for crashes and other performance problems with the Scholarship Edition of Bully, saying a fix is on the way. Why hasn’t 2k Sports done the same. Ben Brinkman you OWE us an apology. Staying quiet is not helping.
