I figured this baby out...
The game is great..but I was having one problem..I had pinpoint control or threw too many meatballs if I raised the Total Control Pitching slider. I could draw walks but never really issued one outa spite EVER, unless I did it on purpose.
Here is what to do and I now absolutely LOVE this game...you will loose control ohh ya and feel like your actually in the game!
-First thing is to turn the "strike zone" setting to batter...to give you a better eye at the plate...I found when I turn this off/post pitch I swing at WAY too many balls.
-As most know turn all the "AI Throw Strike" slider to 0. Also turn all the "AI Take Strike & Balls" sliders to 100..I have the AI Take Strike Behind slider at 75 though. Put the "AI Meatball" slider at 0. Put the "AI Corner" slider at about 0. Put both "Foul Ball" sliders at about 75...I like alot of fouls but too many increase the strike count which is the part of the problem. Put the "Total Pitch Control" slider at about 50 or even lower to avoid meatballs and to combat the changes below
-Now in the roster editor take your team MLB, AAA, AA, A or all and for the pitching rotation do the following to edit each of your pitchers:
*Turn the "Walks" slider all the way up...first thing this does is tighten all the umps strikezone especially with 3 balls.
*Turn the "Composure" slider to 0...this is awesome, get 2 on in the first and get "tense" it begins to shake...if you get "rattled" its pretty hard to find the plate. They needed to incorporate this more into the game anyway not just the bottom of the 9th...its now there often.
*For every pitch listed turn the "Control" slider to 0...first this speeds up the "Total Control Marker" and really itensifies the composure shake.
Give it a try folks its awesome....now its a work in progress and maybe someone will provide some tweaks to it but this is simply an awesome starting point for anyone IMO. Also finding your likeable sliders with this mod. will even make things better...lemme know what ya think? :wink:
