    HR Record

Am I missing this or did 2k leave it out, but in the MLB records there is no HR record. Is 2k making a statement or did they leave it out because Bonds isn't a member of the player's association? Forgive me if this has been covered before.

KushGamer said they can't put it in because Bonds holds it and he isn't part of the MLBPA. And they can't put a fake name as the HR record holder because then Sony and Microsoft consider it a bug and they can't certify the game.

In last years, i believe it was Sosa who had it by default.

I know they can't include bonds (not a member of the MLBPA), but why couldn't they use McGwire?

Because then it isn't the record. Sony and MS see that as a bug. Just what KG said. Last year Bonds didn't have the record so they didn't have to worry about it.

          Exact quote...

that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. They couldn't just do what every other sports game has done in the past with players they couldn't name and list him as "LF #25"?
