All Star Difficulty
Anyone else have a really hard time getting hits on All Star? I have been playing the 2k series for awhile now and had swing stick down for 2K7. However, this new 2.0 seems to be a lot harder to get hits with. On Pro it was obviously easier to hit balls and I was getting high scores, but not realistic gameplay. Now on Allstar, I can't get a hit to save my life. It seems like all I ever hit are weak grounders or flyballs, I can never really hit a ball hard to a gap. I just finished a game against Zambrano with the Phillies and only managed to singles throughout the entire game. Any help would be appreciated.Tags: None -
Re: All Star Difficulty
I was having the same problem.....it was all in the step for me as once I figured out when to step, I finally started hitting....I think I scored 7 runs in my first 8 games or so....but now I just start my step about a half second or so before the pitcher releases the ball and I'm having no problems now.....It's actually almost become too easy to hit now.... -
Re: All Star Difficulty
After much much tweaking, I've finally been able to get realistic amounts of hits on All-Star.
And I do not use the left stick at all, its pure right stick and timing. Its a combination of finding your ideal pitch speed slider (mine is about 50-55), and getting the contact slider to your liking.Comment

Re: All Star Difficulty
Hits do not seem an issue on All Star. I'm coming by far more homeruns from myself and the cpu. Games are ending 7-5, 6-4, etc. All these runs are more oftern than none scored by HRs. And well, the pitching on Legend, meatball after meatball. Takes alot to get used to for sure! GTR is right though, trying messing with the pitch speed slider to get it to your liking. It makes a difference.Last edited by driz14; 03-09-2008, 06:57 AM.Comment
