I am having games where I am pitching good for a while and then all of a sudden things will just go bad. I was pitching great with Beckett for 6 innings 2 hit shutout ball and then the most minor mistakes HR's given up and doubles etc. I just feel as though the CPU hits meatballs way too hard when they make contact. Almost like they get a power attribute boost because we messed up the pitch. I like the pitching and I think it's implemented VERY WELL. I just wish sometimes I could give up singles and just walks when I throw bad pitches. This would really make everything more realistic.
Going to try to mess with some sliders to see if I can get some different results.
Let me also add that I absolutley LOVE the challenge and the focus required to pitch good. I like how if I go up by 3 or 4 runs I know that it's not in the bag. In other games if I go up by 3 or 4 runs I feel like I am winning no problem. Now I feel like I have to concentrate and focus on all facets of the game (fielding, pitching and of course adding on to my lead with good hitting). I just don't like how I can be pitching so good and then just make a couple minor mistakes and have them hit out of the yard so easily or back to back doubles. I really think it's way too many doubles and HR's and very few singles and walks. If I can trim down the CPU HR's and CPU extra base hits I will be in baseball heaven.
