I hit one with Carlos Lee @ Camden Yards, 444ft to be exact.
That was a back to back after Lance Berkman hit one to left-center.

I hit a bomb to cf last night with Adam Dunn, it traveled 471 ft!!!
It was just unreal when I hit it, as soon as I made contact it was a no doubter.
It was funny when I crossed home plate the man on deck (Edwin) just looked at Dunn and shook his head, like man was that unreal.

In 3 games I've hit one HR w/ Pat Burrel to right center. Apparently Howard only has warning track power to center in MLB 2K8 because I thought I blasted one pitch, but it was just to the warning track. In 3 games I homerless w/ Howard, Utley, Jenkins, and Rollins...that's against Nats pitching. I have gotten doubles w/ all those guys though...after slider adjustments.

I robbed a HR in dead center too w/ the flyin hawaiian.

Re: has anyone hit a no doubter to center field?

I finally hit a bomb to center field! I was trying out sliders that had a higher pitch speed, so the whole game I was a little late on my swings, hitting balls the opposite field and up the middle. JJ Hardy hit one to dead center against the Braves at Turner Field. It was pretty cool.

Although nothing could compare to the titanic blast I hit with Prince Fielder. 504 ft. I just remember seeing the fattest fastball I've seen yet playing this game, must've been 96 or 98 mph, mashed my right stick up and boom, off it went... 10 or 12 rows back on the second deck at the Astros home ball park (minute maid?). That shot stood with me the whole night, I couldn't even play the game anymore because I just kept thinking how sweet it was.

just hit one to center with arod at kauffman stadium (royals). it traveled to right-center, about where the 400 foot sign is. went into the 2nd row of the waterfalls to the left of the state farm insurance sign. said it was only 424 feet, but it was a MASSIVE shot.

I have to be honest... I think the reason we aren't seeing very many massive blasts (at least, by tape measure) is because of the way they... well... measure the distance the ball traveled. For instance, all of my playing time in this game has been with the demo, so I'm always in Fenway Park. Most of my home runs (as well as the CPU's) are going over the Green Monster. Not once have I seen a home run hit over the green monster that has traveled more than 380 feet. In fact, most of the time, it's somewhere between 320 - 340 feet. No joke. These aren't down-the-line high fly balls that just clear the fence, either. Matt Holliday smoked a liner that cleared by a decent bit to straightaway left field and it only went like 350 feet.

Does this game track where the ball first hits, or where it would have landed had nothing obstructed its path?

I've been blasting the ball with Howard - a few where I knew it was gone when the pitch was still on the way in. For some reason I've really struggled with Rollins though.
