Decent free editor available?

Didn't want to start my own thread for this, but does anybody have a decent mp3 editing tool to use to make your own music? This is such a cool feature, and I want to play around with it myself but really don't know where to begin.

I know you have to burn the CD, then rip said CD to your HDD and save it as a playlist. But beyond that, and then the obvious selecting the music for each individual player and what not, is that all there is to it?

Sorry if this post is a little off topic, but I was just looking for a decent (free) mp3 editor to use to cut my own batter themes.

If you read the first page, I was editting things as I finished into it. No, it did not stop, but I am not going to work around the clock. I need to sleep, eat, work, and do other things too. Please don't be silly...

I will try to do the White Sox soon....

I am going to try to get a lot done tonight. I didn't get as many done as I wanted to lastnight to unavoidable circumstances, but I really hope I can do more.

Great idea man! For the Cubs, I was including a longer version of Van Halen's "Jump" (play it when they take the field) and "Go Cubs Go" by Steve Goodman. As long as you guys list some teams songs, I will be sure to include them. I just don't know every single one.

Well, I'm using cool edit pro 2.0, and while it's not free, it really does do the trick.

However, do enough searching on the internet, and you can find a demo (download.com used to have one but I don't believe it's on there anymore) for this other program I used to use...

"ACE-HIGH MP3 Recorder"

You can record up to 4:00 minutes or so with the demo, and cut it as you like I believe. I'm unsure what capabilities it has honestly, it's been a long time since I used it. Otherwise, I'd suggest you go to download.com and just search for free editting software.

Ah, I wasn't even sure if that was possible, but I'm not surprised since it's a free acount I was using. Thank you for pointing that out.

I am going to just sign up for a pay account on that site so I can have unlimited downloads, and then I will rehost them all. Apologies to everyone. Expect everything up with new links on the main page. To those who downloaded what's up already, don't worry.

I'm still working on stuff, and probably will be on and off throughout the night so look out for a few more packs. I'm mainly a night time person, so I get a lot done at this time of the day.

Also, how long would you guys like the songs in the stadium pack to be? I'd assume longer than the batter/pitcher entrance songs, but not the full song? Any ideas?
