    Clarification on "framerate" issue please.

Ok so is this frame rate that people are complaining about.
    is it?:

    1) You are having a constant low frame rate

    or

    2) Your game kinda stutters every once in a while

I've noticed some of #2 and I was wondering if thats what you guys were experiencing. If I had to guess, that kind of stutter comes from reading off the hard drive or DVD into memory (ram), or maybe even accessing online content like you guys are reporting. (when 2k servers were down the other day, I guess I did notice my game was a little smoother, but my cards got deleted)

I'm not an expert or anything but this type of stuff is probably refered to as some sort of graphical lag or just stuttering, and that usually happens if you are trying to play a game on your computer or something and you dont have a lot of ram, and data is getting read in from the HD.

A low frame rate problem is when your game is constantly running at like < 30 fps, and the graphics are noticeably chugging and not fluid. This is usually caused by not powerful enough GPU

As great as OS is, I think this gets mislabeled a lot here (see: nfl2k5), and im just looking for some clarification as to what you guys are seeing.

    Both 1 and 2.

Dont't load the game with a profile and only load it in game and log outa the profile before starting gameplay and it will be 90% resolved except for the highlight reels....those are...well....a joke.

does it delete your cards when you log on to the 2k servers then? My cards got deleted the other night cuz i got them when i wasn't connected.

Either way, the graphical hiccups aren't making the game unplayable by any stretch of the imagination.

Not sure on the cards thing...I can give two peas in a pea pod about those..but thats just me.

If they woulda not wasted time with the whole custom soundtracks and cards thing and looked at refining the gameplay and roster glitches they would have one sweet game. I mean some of these were noticed in 2 seconds after release by the community here.

Id say its just two. Game has a very clean framerate where it counts IMO though.

Ya...I will bend my statement to more 2 than one! But the fix does work.
