For example: runner on 1st, batter hits a gapper or just a basehit for that matter, I want to keep the lead runner going but have the option to stop the batter at 2nd or first. Everytime I try and stop him, my lead runner also retreats back to 3rd when he couldve easily scored. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. PS3 version

Question about baserunning (PS3)
I can get the lead runner and all the runners to run but I can't seperate the two.

Re: Question about baserunning (PS3)
Nope. You have to picture your button layout on the control as bases. (X is home, Triangle is 2nd, etc) So if you hit a gapper & you want to send your runner whos on 2nd home you press X. (Lead runner will be highlighted by default) then you use the L stick to highlight the other runner & press triangle to have him go to 2nd. Sounds complicated but its really pretty easy.
