    Thoughts on the trade logic?

I still think top prospects need to have more value. I was able to put Jarrod Washburn on the block (and his 9 mil a year) and had the option of Clay Buckholz OR Ian Kennedy for him.

These were offered to me by the cpu. Seems like that needs some tweaking.

I think players need to have some sort of a career-patch curve/life line.
To make it realistic, they should have several different curves so that every player doesn't peak at the exact same time.

I think if they had this, they would be able to weigh the players current rating as well as his future based on were he was on that projected curve.

Some players peak at 28, others at 33. It would be nice for the computer to know that a 28 year old star is much more valuable than a 37 year old star in most cases.

ive actually been fairly impressed with the trade logic in this game, i feel like prospects are handled better than any game in the past.
In my mets franchise i tried everything to get jay bruce and short of centering a package around f-mart or trading one of my starts i couldnt. Despite the fact he as only rated a 77 the CPU would not accept trades 1-1 for a player ranked better while ignoring other factors. That said i was able to give up el duque + someone i dont remember for matt kemp so it obviously does still need some work. Overall im gonna go out and say the trade logic is the best ive seen in any game thus far (mlb, show, past 2k). This is one of those things i dont EVER see a game getting 100% right, too many variables/moving parts, and the bottom line is theres just not always a logical explanation. The game would probably reject the mets trade and the det trades if you tried to do them and rightfully so, things like that cause problems.

maybe if you up their potential the value of top prospects will become higher just like in NBA2k8.....with the progression sliders I dont think players will improve fast anyway If u adjust them that way
