Wow I just played a couple awesome games

and Yes!!! I finally won my first game....I know it sounds pathetic but I have been playing on All-Star and I just couldn't win a game for anything.

I was the Sox vs the Indians in Progressive. It went 15 innings. I pitched GREAT with Dice-K. Carmona was TOUGH as he normally is in real life. I do pretty much suck at hitting though as well so that didn't help me. I had like 2 or 3 hits through 7 full innings I hit a solo HR to tie the game up at 1 in the bottom of the 7th with Ortiz vs Carmona. I had a golden opportunity to win this game or take the lead anyway in the 9th. I had men on 1st and 2nd (Drew and Varitek singled) and Lugo comes up. I lay down a BEAUTIFUL bunt towards 3rd base that the pitcher fields and has no choice but to throw me out at 1st. It's now 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and just the guy I want up at the plate Ellsbury. I swing and miss at a pitch in the dirt and I thought it was going to an animation cutscene so I pressed x a bunch of times to skip it but it didn't and it was a blocked ball by the catcher so I sent the guy home by pressing x!!! Oh man I was pissed they got a free out then Ellsbury popped out. Thank God I won this game LOL.

I ended up hitting a triple with Ortiz. It was a long shot deep to right. The right fielder for the tribe jumped and tryed to catch it but it hit off his glove back into the field. I took advantage of that and Big Papi came chugging around to 3rd for a stand up triple. Manny follows that with a ground ball single through the drawn in infield. Things got very shaky in the bottom half of the 15th but I won it with runners on 1st and 3rd. Wow what a game that was!!

I just had a good game too. Dodgers vs the hated Giants in my franchise (on All-Star). Down 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th against Chulk who came in for Zito. Zito had pretty much owned me all game. I scored my only run in the 3rd with small ball. Martin doubled, D. Lowe bunted him to third, and I got a sac fly to left field to score the run.

Now, back to the bottom of the 7th. Chulk gets the first two outs. Either is at bat and sends a high fly ball to right field. Rowland and Winn are closing on the ball and guess what. They collide into each other and the ball rolls to the wall while they lie on the ground. Either get on his horse and scores an insider the park homerun! Game tied at two. The CPU brings in another pitcher and gets out of the inning.

I go on to score a run in the bottom of the 8th to go up by 1. Saito comes in and closes it out. If it wasn't for the outfield gaff by the CPU, I'd don't know if I would have won the game. Plus to top it all off, I got a Saito gold card and a D. Lowe platinum. Great game all the way.
