Are there BOXSCORES for SIMULATED games?

Folks, is there a way to view detailed boxscores for simulated games on the calendar?....Im a bit nervous that there is no way to view any of this stuff, making the league feel very much empty and alone unless I play the actual games.

I know you can simply view the scores but I wanted to see a breakdown of the boxscores for any game played on the calendar I clicked on...perhaps there is another way other than the calendar?

this is a bit of a letdown if its not possible.

It's a big let down. Box scores on next-gen systems should be mandatory.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Tell me about it. That's one of the first thing I looked for after the first day of my franchise. Box scores should be basic stuff.

Im surprised they missed this....in a game that touts it's franchise depth so much, you would think that this would be something that they would absolutely have added

Has this every been in any of the versions of the MLB 2K series?

I agree. I would like to see this implemented next year.

Yes, I actually didnt realize how much of a disappointment this really is until I started my franchise a few days ago and noticed how much this takes away from the whole experience of an entire league evolving and growing around you.

I usually like to play 1 or 2 games in a series then sim the rest. This way my entire season doesnt take forever and I get a good balance of realistically simmed stats with arcade style action. However, if you dont actually view the boxscore right then and there when you sim, it doesnt save it in the calendar and even if you sim one day ahead, you cant even see basic data such as who were the winning pitchers. Really bums out the experience.... I can't understant why this stuff isnt viewable somewhere in the Franchise mode because the data is actually being tabulated and tracked to adjust all the other statistics.

I know it may be way too late but is there any chance this could be added to the PATCH?...

...viewable boxscores for all teams in the Calendar section?

I couldn't agree more. There should also be sim sliders. My starter pitchers rarely pitch over 200 innings. Also, only in my A's franchise does Street never get more than 10 saves. Seems like just another team franchise bug (a la Padres).

Why don't you just sim one game at a time??? If you do that then you can see the box scores..I don't see what the problem with that is? If your not going to be patient enough to see it game by game then why simulate 5 games ahead and then go back in the first place?

I don't sim any games in Franchise. That's not the point. I would like the ability to go back and check the box scores of not just my games, but the other (CPU) games also when ever I want. When there is an upset in NBA 2K8, I have the ability to see what player had a good game to help the Hawks beat the Celtics. I want that feature in my baseball games also.

Plus, box scores are just a part baseball.

                            Hey Slick!....what gives?

Some of us dont mind simming one game at a time but some of us want to sim chunks of games

Either way, thats not the point my friend....The point is, I want these Boxscores saved for the entire season so I can go back to any date and view the stats....Stats are what baseball is all about. Moreso than any other sport

And Besides all that, I want to be able to see boxscores of the other 29odd something teams in the league as well....i want to feel that Im playing in a living, breathing franchise...not a ghost town

anyways...cheers and Happy Easter ( If you celebrate it...Im eating Pineapple basted cooked Ham and meatballs and sausauges with macaroni and gravy (marina sauce for all you non-Italians))

btw, where are all the CPU steals in this game...I cant for the life of me witness Steals and Hit & Runs???.....Are the Sliders reversed (again)? I have them maxed out!

Wow!... this Cabernet has a very nice smokey finish with a hint of blackberries and licorice!!
