Game doesn't boot PS3

For curiosity I Gamefly the game I already have the other game witch I love by the way, but I want to check the new pitching system and guess what? the game doesnt boot at all, all that I get is a black screen with no message and nothing, the PS3 freeze, and I have to shoot it off. Anyone experience something like this?

Yep, it happened the first time I put in the game. Black screen and freezes. I unplugged the power cable after turning off the switch. Put the plug back in and switched back on the power. After I did that, I did not get the black screen anymore. Give it a whirl if you already did not try it.

I did have to sit through a long load time the very first time I popped it in, but since then, I've had no issues with the game loading.

But how long was the load time? also, it was a black screen? mine didnt work at all, and looks new on the buttom, anyway I download the demo, and the game is terrible.
