A wild card is a random card you get for pitching a complete game , throwing a no hitter , or making a great play in the field.

Nothing special about them really but sometimes it could be a gold or plat one.

Or an entire pack, which helps expand the collection nicely.

One thing I have noticed is that something seems to be wrong with my connection to 2K. I am unable to download trade offers, yet I know some are there because I receive messages that people have sent me offers, but they never appear. Plus, whenever I open a pack, 95% of the time I only get black baseball cards; I thought that every pack was assured to have at least 1 gold of platinum card in each pack of 10.

I remember when you would do that left right crap for Triple play on the PS to get the camera to go where ever you wanted it too, on replays. It was cool. I think you could even go outside of the stadium.

Real quick way to get all the cards.

Buy a pack
open it
exit to dashboard
go back into game
new cards and pack still there
keep doing this until you have enough doubles to cash in at one time to buy another pack or packs

this next step is important!!!

when you go back into the game sell your doubles first, then go to buy another pack or how ever many you have enough for. when you buy the pack/packs and exit the card store screen it saves your VIP and your card credits are also saved. Now when you go to your new cards section you will see all your packs that you just bought there. lets say you have a total of 5 packs to open, open all 5 and then do the dashboard exit, now when you re-enter the game you will have all 5 packs to open again!! I had as many as 22 at once with the cheat, the problem is the doubles, you get alot really fast, but it's a quicker way to get the cards with the multiple packs, I also have over 30,000 credits, i'm gonna keep cashing the doubles in incase they come out with another set so i can buy the packs if they fix the glitch. Hope this tip was understandable
