I didn't know about frame rate or bugs and glitches. I would just play for hours, not blaming the developers or in-game sliders for the problems. So now I find myself more and more ignoring what people say in reviews and I just find the game that is most fun for me. It's kind of like when you hear movie reviews. They may say a movie is the best of the year, but you still might not like it. Or they can say it's the worst, but you may find it very enjoyable. So I ask you, do you want to rely on someone elses opinion of a game? Or your own? You decide.

Just Enjoy the Game
<hr style="color: rgb(57, 57, 57);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> I remember back in the day when I didn't rely on the internet, or even magazines for that matter, to find game reviews. It was fun just being a kid and anticipating a games release. I would prepare, ask my mom and make sure she had enough money to get the game. Then we'd head down to GameStop pick it up. (And ignore the clerk when he asked me if I was sure I wanted All-Star Baseball and not MVP.) And I would ferociously rip open the package on the bus ride home. When I got home I would just enjoy the game as much as possible.

Re: Just Enjoy the Game
Oh boy, here we go again.
A. Enjoy the game
B. You are kidding? How can you enjoy this game? If ya don't know baseball, you'll enjoy this game.
Argh, enough already.
Some people enjoy, some others don't.
Who cares? Get on with your game and play ball.Comment

Re: Just Enjoy the Game
Hmm, so anyone who enjoys the game is stupid and/or ignorant? And I'm interested: Which rules of baseball did the game get wrong? I assume this is what you're insinuating. Let's hear your long list. And it must be long and obvious list given your 'totally oblivious' comment.Comment

Okay, sure, no problem. But which rules of the game do they get so wrong that people who play the game must be oblivious?Comment

Re: Just Enjoy the Game
A few points
1. Selling your system because this game sucks is a bit extreme
2. To the original poster...what you forget is that back then games didnt cost nearly as much and when something sucked i use to get pissed. Now is a far better time in gaming. We dont depend on reviews...we are now able to avoid making bad purchases because with the help of reviews and forums. Thank GOd....without reviews and forums i would have bought 2K and been disappointed and wouldnt have even considered getting the Show.Comment

B. If I enjoyed a game over another game, I'd sure spend my spare time playing that game instead of complaining daily of the game I didn't enjoy.Comment

Re: Just Enjoy the Game
It's a horribly buggy attempt at an arcade baseball experience. Given this, where would I even begin with how this game does not even remotely resemble real life MLB?Comment
