Im having a bit of trouble timing my step while batting.

Just wondering how do you guys time your step/pullback? I play on All-Star now(pro is to easy) and i am struggling at the plate because of my step/pull back, i think thats why seems like im not makin solid contact.

edit: i use the swing stick 2.0 and All star Diffculty default(i dont adjust sliders)

i usually do it right when the pitchers arm is at the top of their throw

I use the classic batting controls exclusively. But there was a tip said by someone here about taking your first step the moment you see the pitcher's back pocket. It worked for me the short time I used the swing stick control system!

What works best for me is I'll step and take a pitch or two until I get a perfect step and then I'll time the swing appropriately. That being said I've gotten some really good numbers and most of my batters in my franchise are close to .285 - .300
