My First
I'm 31 and have been playing different baseball games since age 7 and today I had a little spare time so I decided to play a game in my franchise. With Rich Hill I threw my first ever perfect game. I had come close to throwing no hitters a few times going 7 plus before giving up a hit and walking batters. But finally today I threw my first no hitter and it was a perfecto. So props to me LOL“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: My First
Yesterday I was in the playoffs of my 2nd 10 game franchise season with the sox. It was Buerhle vs the Angels, and i had a no hitter going with 1 out in the 9th and I gave up a bloop single down the RF line =(
Buerhle is a beast though, somehow he developed a 97mph fastball in my franchise lol. I accidently beaned a guy too in like the first inning (i didnt even think I hit him, it was kinda iffy) So i was pretty damn close to a perfect game as well. I was so pissed i lost the no hitter i really wanted the achievement. I wasn't even sure that I had the no-no going because i had cut scenes turned off so it doesnt show the box-score between innings and i couldn't remember if i gave up a hit or not earlier in the game, but the amount of batters I would have faced matched up. Sure enough after i gave up the hit i went to the box score and there it was 1 hit =(
I think I did pitch a no hitter against my roomate in mvp 2005 or highheat 2004, i forget, but this was almost as sweet -

Re: My First
First off congrats to you!
The only game I was ever able to pitch a perfect game vs the AI was MVP05 on the xbox. Last year I pitched a perfect game in my 2k7 online league vs the Giants.Comment

Re: My First
Had a perfect game going into the ninth with Cole Hamels today against the Marlins. With one out, he takes a liner off the skull BUT it pops up into the air and Helms pulls it down for the out. Phew. Too bad Hamels then goes out for two weeks with a concussion... Lidge finished it off, but nobody really cared at that point. So close.Comment

Re: My First
Congrats ! I remember when I threw my first 3 no-hitters. I did them all in the same franchise with 4 different pitchers in MLB 2K7. I had Tom Gorzelanny throw a no no vs. the Rockies in Coors field, he went 8 1/3 innings before suffering a hamstring injury. So I brought in Damaso Marte to finish off that No no. Then I threw one with Ian Snell vs the Reds and struck out 17 batters and then I had Sean Burnett no hit the Angels in PNC Park which was awesome.« My Teams »

Threw a perfect game with Mike Pelfrey (yes, the same Mike Pelfrey who gave up 8 Runs in 3 innings in ST the other day), haven't done that one before on any platform.
Of course, back when I was 7, the 'big' baseball news was that the Intellivision actually featured NINE fielders!Comment
