Why won't my music rip from my CD onto my XBOX 360???

I am trying to get custom stadium beats and I burned 23 songs onto a CD and put the CD in my XBOX 360 and it only lets me listen to them and not rip them!!!

Down at the bottom of the dashboard where it sayd whats in your 360 it says "Mixed Media Disc".

I burned 1 song onto a CD and then I riped it onto my 360 fine before. But for my 23 songs, most of them I edited so long pasues and junk were taken out. Do you honestly think thats what did it? Because I don't want to go through the hassle of downloading the songs again.

I looked further and it said that I needed to go to the Windows Media Center for it. I'll try hooking up to XBL and see what happens.

Sounds like youre trying to rip audio from an mp3 cd, you need to create an AUDIO cd in windows, not an mp3 or multimedia cd or the xbox wont allow the rip.

hmmm there WAS an option to make an audio CD or something else. I chose the something else because I was about 4 minutes over on the audio selection.

          THANK YOU.

It has to be audio cd or it won't rip. For some reason you can't rip mp3's.

You also cannot rip a CD that was burned using Mac software. Learned this the hard way. If you burn it using Windows Media Player on a PC you should be fine though.

Ok so I am having the same problem basically. If anyone could help me I would be grateful. So I have NCAA Football 14 and I have to create a playlist on my Xbox 360 to add custom stadium sounds. First off, it doesn't give me the option to select the hard drive. Secondly it wont let me Rip CDs. I've put some custom .mp3 files on an empty disk with windows media player. I burned them on there and then inserted the CD. I tried to Rip the CD but it wouldn't highlight green and let me select it. No error message or anything. I also put most of my game files on a thumb drive so i tried putting them on there and it still didn't work. I also tried an mp3 and an iPhone but that also didn't work. I also burned two CDs, one at the fastest speed and one at the slowest. I burned the second at the slowest cause I thought that was the problem after reading about it, but, nope. Anyway that's about it. Someone please help this noob

                    Thanks!
