    Low and away pitch

I am having a hard time having any success with low and away strikes. I understand it's the most difficult pitch to hit, but even when looking for it I generally just hit a ground ball to the right side and never seem to drive the ball.
Any tips or suggestions would be great.

    Thanks,

    Chad

When you swing with the analog stick, are you pressing up and slightly to the right as opposed to just straight up? Also, are you letting the ball travel a little deeper before swinging? It sounds as if at least you are letting the ball get deeper since you are hitting it to the right side.

Personally, I find myself hitting better to the right side with righties than I do pulling the ball.

I can't for the life of me hit an up and in fastball. It just rockets past me and I never make contact. I once looked on the replay and the ball went straght through the bat.

For the low and away pitch, make sure you let the ball get a little deep on you so you can hit it to opposite field.

For the high and inside pitch you really have to get out in front of it to drive it with authority.

Yeah, I have the pitch speed slider almost all the way up. The only way I can hit up and in pitches is if I swing almost instantaniously. But when I do it's almost always a home run.

What sliders are you using or if you don't mind sharing what your skill/contact/power numbers are. I wonder if this isn't playing a role. Perhaps I am just not swinging up to the right enough, but I rarely get hits over there.

            Thanks,

            Chad

I'm using an older version of BFJ's sliders as I haven't updated them in a while. Honestly, it's been probably 3 weeks or so since I've touched them and I couldn't tell you it I had any given slider at 5 or 95....sorry man, wish I could be more help.
