"Yes, the patch wasn't released yesterday as MS promised me, but I did have an e-mail this morning indicating they had planned to. I am not sure whether the XBOX matinence got in the way of this, but I am on the phone trying to work it out as we speak. F*ck I hate MS AND 2K crap! The things they say to cover their @ss. Especially when he says good games release the final game unfinished with a patch in mind in the future ike all games do this. That was total BS.

I hope they put out a list of what was patched. Otherwise sometimes there seems to be a bit of a placebo effect that goes on where people suddenly become convinced that things have been fixed, though they haven't.

2k did a great job of patching their 2008 basketball games and telling us what was patched. I don't have the same faith in the group working on MLB 2k8.

Guys, keep this thread clean. Just because it didn't come out last night doesn't mean it won't come out this week. Delays happen, especially when MS is doing server maintenance.

And from now on keep all patch talk in here instead of starting a new thread everytime something comes out of the 2K forums.

Sorry about that, just get kinda tired of the same old excuses and the same old broken product from what is supposed to be a multibillion dollar company. They need to seriously fire a bunch of their mlb staff and start really looking around for people who actually know how to create a baseball franchise. This ben brinkman is ok but he looks like he has never played a real game of baseball ever and on top of that it seems like laziness that a ton of stuff is added to what seems like a recycled video game. Great, you had an awesome first season with great graphics. All you had to do was improve 1. framerate 2. gameplay 3. presentation. Instead only one got played with. Great product advancement 2k. Try actually going to a real game or man just watch one and tell me the crap 2k puts out is even remotley like it. Venting again sorry but maybe I speak for the GEN POP?

Count me in as one within the "gen pop" I agree with everything you say and feel the same frustrations exactly. The only difference between me and some other folks is that I have both consoles and have a choice. THis is the reason why im not sooo bitter and am actually looking forward to next years release.

After reading these many posts as well as monitoring the 2K boards it is reasonable to believe that emc12 (posts here) is the same as Scott1174 who posts on the 2K boards. He is claiming on both boards that he got the update. He was accused on the 2K boards of lying about getting the demo early (Feb. 14th). He denied it but someone posted his previous posts of getting the demo early thus proving him to be a liar. Hopefully our mods can deal with this guy.

Weird. I haven't been to this board in a few weeks. I played the PS3 version the other day with my friends, and there were no framerate issues. I figured a patch had already been released. Yet, the PS3 isnt even gettign a patch? haha

I'm more interested to know the patch situation with the PS3 version. They haven't really explained if the even more evident framerate issues in the PS3 version will also be taken care of in a future patch. Really a shame how secretive they have been towards PS3 owners.

Dont worry the MODS here are a million times better than the MODS over at the 2k forums..They wont put up with his crap for too long over here.
