    Anyone know how to relay?

I try and do what the hints say, but that rb button doesn't do crap to cut off. I can't cut off worth crap.

If you're using the stick to throw, you'll have to hit the "LT" to hit the cutoff man. Only problem I have with it though,is trying to find the EXACT moment to pull the L trigger.
As far as a quick turn to a particular base.....preload your throw to where ever you want to throw it....BEFORE you hit the cutoff man.

The timing of hitting the cutoff man is confusing me though.
Do you pull L trigger BEFORE throwing the ball? or once the ball is in the air?
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this as well.

I've found that if I pull the LT once I'm under that ball, and pre-loading my throw. If I do it after, I've found that the cut-off man does not cut off the throw.

Additionally, after the cut-off man receives the catch, you have to make another throw to a base... not always the fastest of motions and allows a runner to be safe, but I counter that by setting the throw meter difficulty to a higher setting (so it fills up to green faster).

This one's easy. If you hold LT at any point before the fielder actually makes the catch, any direction you press the right analog stick will result in the ball being thrown to the relay man. If you pull LT after the ball has been released, the nearest fielder will try to cut the ball off... but not always - especially on throws to home plate apparently.

          Thanks for the tip fellas
Like I mentioned...sometimes I was able to hit the cutoff man,but alot of times I would miss him completely and figured it had to do with my timing...thanks again.

Thanks for this. What I've been doing (with some degree of success) is repeatedly pulling the LT after throwing the ball. That usually does the job, but sometimes I don't have a man lined up in the right position to cut the ball off. I'll assume your method fixes that.

yeah throw it first to a baseman, then press LT. For example, a ball was hit to RF. After my RF caught it, I threw it to second. Right after I threw it, I hit LT and the cutoff man grabbed it before it got to 2nd base.

                At least I think that's what I did ...

I was looking at the tips that pop up on screen, and it said to throw directly to a relay man you press RB shortly after making a throw from the outfield. You can also preload the cutoff man's throw just like any other fielder.

EDIT: no, that isn't right, nevermind. My first post was correct. I just tested it. Batter hits to RF. I throw to 2nd, and after the RF released the ball I pressed LT. The cutoff snagged the ball before it got to the 2B.
