I just sold my copy of the game

    Inexcusable 2K.

From the franchise bug, to the lag etc.. I just couldn't wait anymore. I paid to play a game that I considered next gen, and lag free for the most part. For a next generation game the frame rate issue is inexcusable. I've mentioned this many times before. It ruins the enjoyment of the game for me especially.

2K has just lost a customer. Part of me says, how much I would have loved to see EA continue on with their MVP series. MVP would have perfected the video game of baseball by now. Instead we are stuck with a mediocre baseball game in MLB 2K.

      Um...ok?
Was it really necessary to start a thread about selling your game, and repeating the same issues that have been gone over a thousand times?
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

i agree 100%. and add in the fact that 2k has completely alienated an entire fan base (padres fans), of which i'm included. however, i am still holding out hope that at some point this weekend i'll be able to play a patched, fixed game. baseball is my favorite sport and as a 360 owner, this is my only option.

I really feel for you Padre fans. I lived there for some time and still have a soft spot for the Pads and it's inexcusable the glitch that makes it impossible to run a Padres franchise. If it was the Yankees there would've been a fix within a week.

I'm in the same boat as you....i love baseball and this is my only option for the 360 so I'm trying my best to make do with it.

I disagree. There's no reason to start a new thread. Sell the game; move on. Others here are enjoying 2K8. Respect that.

I see no lag at all in my game now that I sign out right before the first pitch of each game.

If you've 'mentioned it many times before', why bother mentioning it again? Who's minds are you trying to change? At what point do you say "gee, I sound like a broken record" and stop inundating the message board with the same complaints ad nauseum?

I honestly don't have that big of an issue with this game. The framerate isn't NEARLY as big of a deal (on my end, anyways) as many people are making it out to be.

You guys must be too young to remember the 'early days' of gaming. For instance, Intellivision games were every bit as expensive as the next gen games coming out today, and we were so happy with those back in the day and looking back--those graphics were HORRID. Many guys here act like spoiled children, I've even seen complaints about the freakin grass on here; give me a break.

Oh, and MVP wasn't all that great either. I had it, sold it and get this...I didn't feel like I had to go to the EA boards and tell everybody about it.

Umm, no, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been any different if it were the Yankees. The only thing is, they would have caught it before it was released if it was the Yankees because people actually use them, unlike the Padres.
