Regarding Total Pitch Control - need some help
I'm having trouble grasping how I should approach the total pitch control thing. Should the yellow circle always be at its maximum diameter before I release the motion? Also timing it within the green inner circle, if it doesn't flash white does that mean the pitch isn't as effective? I'm also finding that I'm getting rocked by the AI very often. Are there any tips I could get to work the mound better?Tags: None -

The flash in the green determines how accurate the pitch is. If it flashes then you spot the pitch exactly where you aimed it. Has nothing to do with effectiveness AFAIK.
Typical advice on pitching...work the corners, change speeds, use more effectiveness for better hitters. Don't always pay attention to the catcher suggestions...throwing a changeup belt high to Manny might not be a good idea!Steam: BahnzoComment

There are some who think TCP might be broken, due to it not registering the gestures correctly when Pitching. I would suggest lower the TCP Slider to 0 & test-out how that works for you. If it seems too easy up the Slider until you are @ a point that it's meeting your need
Lowering the TCP slider makes the green area larger which makes it easier to spot pitches, so definitely raise it to level where you feel comfortable but yet still aren't making perfect pitches every time.
2K needs to change the TCP also. IMO raising the slider shouldn't make the green area smaller, but instead make the meter move faster. Since the meter moves the same speed, it's still too easy to "flash" pitches and be accurate most of the time...it really just results in more meatball pitches when you miss.Steam: BahnzoComment
