Worth It?

Hey,

I'm a Padres fan who loved 2K7. I don't have my 360 online so I don't have a roster update; an updated roster would be my primary motivation for purchasing the game.

I haven't read much about the game, but I did see there were some glitches.

Also, I saw that there is an enhanced minor league component this year. Can you play as your minor league teams like you could in the old days of MVP, or do you just manage through an interface?

Is this worth the $60? Or should I just continue to pretend that Cameron and Marcus Giles are still on the squad?

If you're a Padres fan & don't have an online connection to your 360 then you're in big trouble as the Padres have a major glitch with the rosters magically dissapearing in Franchise mode.

Good you mentioned that. But I can't believe the OP doesn't know about that glitch. I assumed he continued to mention he's a Padres fan, because of it.

Yeah I heard about that glitch. I can probably get it online, just haven't had the time to mess with it.

They are all playable.

Yes you can play as any of the 3 classes in the minors (A, AA, AAA).

I only play against teh CPU and I think this is a pretty good game and definaitely worthy of upgrading from last years version. Pitching is quite fun with the new pitching mechanic.
