Re: Is the patch only for the 360?
PSN doesn't have anything to do with it. Patching is built into the system, and when an update is available, it will update automatically. Also, Sony generally takes much less time with the approval process than MS, so if they were completed around the same time, it would be out by now.
I have no clue why 2K is holding this up, but it better have something to do with framerate fixes.Comment

The word from the forum admin over at the 2K forums, is that a PS3 patch is coming soon to fix several issues - the SD glitch for example. But they still haven't figured out how to fix the framerate issue, meaning a patch for that problem could and will take longer. This was the update 3-4 days ago.Comment

That's a load of hooey.

I do like the game. I think it's a fun game, that plays a nice game of baseball. That being said as a PS3 owner, I really feel 2k has left us out in the cold, and get the feeling they really don't give a damn that they did.Comment

Its kinda funny because the PS3 offline game runs decent (havent played online) their is no freezing up. Kinda funny since the PS3 version is a port.Comment

Re: Is the patch only for the 360?
Guys, after playing a lag-filled 8-inning game and losing a 5-run lead due to the maddening catch-up logic, I gave up for good on Thursday night.
Eating crow, I bit the bullet and picked up The Show. It hurts to say it as a vocal MLB 2K defender, but it is a really solid game.
If they ever figure the fixes out and patch 2K '08 properly, I'll play the game again, but 2K really let me down and I sorta feel ripped off of my $60. It's a shame, since it has so much promise, but is so broken.
I'll be waiting for demos before buying a 2K game in the future...Comment
