I mean my game has always frozen up. But it was more like every 8-10 games or so. Now it seems like it's at least once a day (every 1-3 games or so). Anyone else experiencing this?

Game Freezing more ever since patch?
Is it just me or has the game froze more often ever since the patch came out?

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
i dont know if it was because of the patch or not...but i tried to play earlier and my game literally froze 5x straight during the pregame stuff right before it went to miller and morgan. i was looking at the 2k forums..and anyone with any freezing problems get no help what so ever. most just post that it must be their system and not the game. but none of my other games freeze and others said the same. i think 2k just knows they screwed up big time with this one and are going to ride the storm out...i'm pretty disappointedSports do not build character. They reveal it.

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
I dont really have enough data to say it SURELY freezes more after the patch but for me - it froze three times prior to the patch within the first two days while altering my line-up but never during gameplay.....now it has frozen twice in the middle of a game.......I am not sure which one is more frustrating.Comment

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
Well all I can say is that mine froze twice before the patch, after the patch it freezes every other game, very frustrating.
I have never bought a 2k baseball game before this one, but I wanted a baseball game and I only have the 360, so I picked this up. I have learned my lesson, never ever will I throw away 60 bucks on another 2k game.
Sorry but they need to be bought out.
Don't mean to rant but there is just no since in a company being this sorry.Last edited by minister; 04-12-2008, 08:19 PM.John 3:16Comment

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
Just for information I've found that if I turn on my xbox 360 without pressing the eject button to eject the disc from the drive it causes whatever game I am attempting to play to freeze. I can play for hours otherwise.

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
I've played about 20 games all post patch and have had 2 freezes. Both were 8th inning when I was ahead (so very frustrating).
Any chance we can narrow down what's causing the freeze? CPU/memory overload or something? Could turning the commentary or other things off possibly reduce the likelihood of a freeze?
I bought my xbox new a week ago, so I can't imagine how it would be the system.Comment

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
Every game that I've played that's frozen has been the Pirates vs. the Marlins. It didn't matter if it was in Florida or Pittsburgh heh.« My Teams »

MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates
NHL: Pittsburgh PenguinsComment

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
It's been about the same for me. It's driving me crazy. There's nothing I hate more than having to play a game 2-3 times in a row before it takes. This last time the team was literally running off the field after the 3rd out of the ninth (I had won 7-1) and it froze. I'm ready to trade it in, except that there isn't another option for baseball on the 360. It isn't the custom music (I don't use any at all), it isn't the replay option (I've turned them all off, it still froze), it's just bad programming in general. I hate to say it, but this is what you get without competition.****************************************

Re: Game Freezing more ever since patch?
Pre Patch I did not have a single freeze in over 80 games played. Post Patch i've had two freezes both in the bottom of the 7th inning.Comment
