Does it still work and can someone tell me how to do it... I have 500 credits and I want to get the glitch to work to allow me to get a lot of cards.

Yes it still works. Basically, connect to Xbox live in the game. Open your pack of cards. Hit your center guide button on your controller (do NOT hit B because it will save your VIP profile and you will lose your pack of cards you just opened). Select your xbox dashboard and quit to that. Restart the game and go back into Xbox live and you should have your new cards and your unopened pack of cards.

A side note -- after doing the process for an hour or so, you should also have loads of duplicates to sell back and buy some more packs.
Also, after doing the work to build up your collection, the cards will only be available if you're connected to and signed in to XBox Live. Otherwise, you'll just have the cards you've earned through your play. At least, that's how it's working for me.Comment

You can do this for the PS3 too, here's how:
Buy a pack of cards, then back out to the main menu. Go online, then immediately go back out, and open your pack of cards. Then, hit the center button, quit the game, go back, you will still have the same points to buy another pack of cards. Make sure you click "no thanks" when it asks you to save when you go online, until you have enough duplicates to buy one, or as many packs as you want. At some point you'll have to sell back your dupes, you get a message saying you have too many cards.
I didn't see this PS3 thing posted, give it a try, it works for me doing it exactly like I posted, there may be an easier way around it, but this works so I didn't want to change anything.Comment

Worked perfectly - did lose cards after doing it a few times.. While connected to Live saw (82 cards) did a system shutdown and when reconnect to live all 420 cards were there. Now I am short 27 cards...
