Help with outside corner fastball

Does anyone have any tips for hitting the low and outside corner fastball? I seem to ground out almost every time to 1st base?

Put into the opposite field. And if it is early in the count, and you aren't having success hitting it, lay off it.

That's exactly it. Drive it to the other field otherwise you'll ground out almost every time.

In real life, there's very little a hitter can do with a low and outside fastball. For a right handed hitter, the ball is in an impossible spot to loft into the outfielder.

If it's early in the count, lay off it.

Shoot, I'm like the opposite. I love the outside fastball.

I have the other problem, my reaction time is still a little too slow to pull the hard inside fastball unless I'm sitting on it.

Yeah same here. I rarely if ever pull anything. It's always hit to center or right (With a righthanded batter of course). I need to lower pitch speed, but I'm, afraid my K's will be too low. I'll find a happy-medium somewhere.

The funny thing is, it's only with right handed batters that I can't pull consistently.

With lefties I pull everything..

You're right. I think that might have to do with the handedness of the pitcher though. Since we primarily face right handers that makes batting right handed more difficult.

Your sorta right but i expiermented with LHP and LHB and you can hit everything hard if you pull with lefties My avg. with LHB was a .458 and thats vs. LHP vs RHP is was .413 so LHP is a lil better but I had about 3 extra base hit to 1 single its kinda crappy in my opinion
