Question About Trading Duplicate Cards?

Everytime I try to trade my duplicates or any card for that matter I keep getting a pop up box that says I must go to the XBOX LIVE main menu first? I never had this problem until now. Anyone know the reason for this? Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How did you used to do it? Why do you feel that it's a problem?

It has always been that way for me since the day the game was released.

i used to be Able to sell my duplicates while i was offline. (NOT on XBOX LIVE AT ALL) that is why i asked this question

I've answered this several times now, but I'm sure it's been burried away.

Once you take your collection online for the first time, a copy of your collection resides on the 2KSports servers. Once there, any action that removes a card from your collection (like selling, trading, etc) requires you to be signed into those 2KSports servers. Going to the online main menu achieves this so the game points you to do that.
