Can you call up guys for the CPU?

In my franchise, I want to call up Longoria (hitting .415 with 12 bombs and 36 RBI's in 33 games for their AAA team). Is there any way at all to do this? They have Willy Aybar playing a stellar 3B for them, hitting .187 and leading the league in errors.

There's got to be a back door so I can get Longoria up with the big club... If not, that truly sucks, as they'll probably leave him down until September...

Maybe try a trade of some sorts between your team and the Rays where you trade Longoria and Aybar for two players on your team. Maybe make seperate trades so you trade player A, who goes for Aybar and goes to their MLB squad and then trade player B for Longoria who goes to their AAA squad. Then when you trade back, flip flop their players so Longoria is trade for your player A who is on the MLB team and Aybar is traded for player B, who is on the AAA team...worth a shot.

I would think as long as all positions are filled and the CPU doesn't have to re-adjust their rosters, you might be able to make it work.

yes,its simple.first trade your best position player for longoria.this will cause the cpu to send there worst player down(to make room for there new player).now when u aquire longoria he should be on your major league roster.so simply trade him back for your player.longoria will now be in the majors.this works 100% of the time.i like doing this to ensure the other teams have suitable backup at all times. i.e. no johnny damon as backup catcher. its very easy in my opinion.you might have to re-ajust your lineup after though.
