Franchise Question: Trade or Release?

I am playing a full 162 game season with the Rays. Due to his strange real life health issues I do not have Rocco Baldelli on the major league roster. I do not anticipate using him at all this season.

Just wondering what you would do if you were in my situation. The CPU has made a few trade offers for him already in less than 30 games. I could just keep him in the minors for the rest of the year and then release him. In real life Tampa did not pick up his contract option for next year.

I just want to strike the right balance between realism and at the end of the day the fact this is a game. The last thing I want is to feel like I have cheated the game given the amount of time that is invested in playing a full season.

I also use the rays and I just decreased all his stats and kept in AAA. They still have the rights to Rocco and he wont play for another team so to keep the 'realism' thats what I do. With that said however I traded away Floyd, Hinske and Percival because I dont like them soooo maybe you should listen to someone else.
