2 MLB 2K8 updates in 5 days?

I have been on 2k8 in the last five days and recieve to update notices i clicked yes on both and I dont know what they did what did the patches do ? Ne body know I was just wonderin how a game that rarely updates anything get two quick updates , Also did anybody else get these updates

Last time I was on was Saturday and I didn't recieve any notice of a patch....Uh could it be that you just got the game and never got the other patches?

Nope, no new update as of Sunday for me, and I had the previous patch.

Not sure if this goes here and I didnt want to start a new thread.

Can anyone confirm if MLB2k8 PS3 runs better on fw 2.36? Considering 2k couldnt figure out why it ran so poor I was hoping maybe the latest firmware upgrade would help it out.
