    Bring back cursor hitting ASAP!!

I don't mind the swing stick but at least let me aim my swing. It feels so random and I have no idea what my player is trying to do when he swings.

When I want a level swing to hit a liner or a ground ball with Reyes and Castillo, they are taking uppercuts and hitting flyballs. This system sucks. I don't want to just press a direction on the left stick to control the hits that would be too easy, but at least give me a chance to aim my hits with proper positioning of a cursor.

Brinkman needs to be fired and Kush needs to be disbanded for scrapping cursor/zone hitting, and implementing this brain-dead timed-only system!

Brinkman doesn't work for Kush anymore, he works for Activision.

2K and Blue Castle are working on the next version.

I was always a huge fan of cursor batting as well. However, in the world of "timed" batting, I really like this system. For one, timing it isn't as easy as it used to be. I have some pretty embarrassing swings on off-speed pitches at least a few times a game. Plus, this system also factors in aiming. If it's an inside pitch and you try to push the ball, it's not going to work. On the flip side, when you're down to your last strike, you just want to slap the ball in the direction that the pitch is heading (if that makes sense at all).

Agreed, like I said before I don't have a problem with the swing stick itself but the implamentation. The inability of making my own decision on how I want to swing is irrehensible especially when they gave us that ability before hand. Why take it away. They have taken away my control and the difficulty as well.

The decisions made on this game are nothing but mind boggling.

"Let's make pitching and fielding as difficult and as user involved as we've ever seen in a baseball game and make hitting (which many consider the hardest thing in all of sports to do) so easy that a 5 year old can do it."

You want to hit a fly ball to score a runner, it's up to luck. You want to hit a ground ball behind the runner, it's up to luck.
