Re: If NBA 2K9 has a PC version, why isnt there for MLB 2K9?
I thought I read someplace that a PC version of 2K9 was in the works, I might have been dreaming though?
Just think January is Just 6 weeks away and March is only 90 Days from the beginning of January and I hate to think how close I am to my next Birthday...
I'm planing on turning it around and start getting younger every year. Life is good!
I think the future of this game is in the right hands now.
I couldn't be happier that VC is in control and I feel they will transform this game...There is reason for optimism...
I cant wait...

Re: If NBA 2K9 has a PC version, why isnt there for MLB 2K9?
It's probably one or both of the following:
1) There just isn't enough demand out there. Last year MLB 2K8 sold about 850K units on both the 360 and the PS3. NBA 2K8 sold about 54% more units of 1.3 Million. To add to this, MLB 2K is the only game out there on the 360 and sold fewer units than NBA 2K did and it's going up against Live...so the overall basketball audience out there is much, much larger than the MLB audience.
2) NBA 2K has a pretty good hold on things. For the past two or three years, it has pretty much been the consensus #1 basketball game out there. Since they have the base in place and don't need to overhaul every year, they probably can afford to put some resources in to making the game for the PC. MLB 2K on the other hand still has not flourished like many of us hope and they probably need those extra resourses to focus on the game.Comment

If the numbers were as expected for NBA2k9 PC, then possibly MLB2k9 would be in the works aswell.Comment
