    Anyone want FULLY CUSTOMIZEABLE cameras??

Please 2K give us the ability to have user defined...or at least ALOT more flexibility in setting the different BATTING PITCHING and FIELDING Cameras

I for one though that last year's Behind the catcher Pitching CAM was too foreshortened (meaning that the pitcher felt too close to the batter) There needed to be a better feeling of distance between the pitcher and catcher to allow the flight of the ball to have a greater sensation of distance and velocity traveled

Also add a boatload of newer fielding animations!

Nice idea, but how many baseball games have ever provided more than 2-3 preset hitting cams, and a couple of preset pitching cams? I would have to believe that adding user-defined cameras is way, way down the list of VC's priorities, especially with their time constraints. They'll be scrambling just to get an slightly updated version of last year's game out.

There were two versions of that cam in last year's game, BTW. One was way too close -- the one you're talking about obviously. The other gave a much better perspective, with the pitcher appearing much further away. I think you had to go into widescreen mode to activate it or something -- can't quite recall how that worked.

I think that the behind-the-pitcher cam is an excellent representation of what you see on TV, though it could look better in that the pitcher looks closer to the batter (not only that they're the same size, but that the camera is a little more centered than less). I had an example I put out once, I'll dig through my Photobucket album to find it.

As for the BTC cam, I'm still undecided with what I want. I did like MLB 2K7's, but in a way I felt it was a bit too close in general. We'll see what they do this time around.

EDIT: Here it is, but it was actually from 2K7. It was a POTD video on IGN, so the image isn't very large at all.

Anyway, here is the original look:

And here is the revised look:

As you can see, it makes Zito and Pujols look closer in two ways... in terms of their "size" and their "distance." Plus I also "lifted" the mound so it's like the camera is actually a little closer to the ground. All of that looks a little more like what you would see on TV IMO.
