    Couple Questions

    1) Can you use the behind the pitcher view for user hitting.
    2) Any updated rosters out there for 2k7 on the xbox. thanks
Finally got a 360 and trying to find some solid games to play. From what I have read 2k7 is a better game than 2k8.
    3) Can you use a button to swing or do you have to use the analog

      Re: Couple Questions

      1) Pretty sure that you cannot use the behind the pitcher view to hit from for either 2K7 or 2K8.

      2) Can't help you there, but I would assume that if there was an updated 2K7 roster out there, it would be from the end of the 2007 season. I didn't think 2K7 played that great of a game of baseball, but it was much prettier. There are a lot of problems with both games. I think 2K8 is much more fluid and better as far as controls and overall player movement and reaction.

      3) Button swinging is available for both 2K7 and 2K8. Press button and the direction you want to hit the ball.

Finding someone who still plays 2K baseball is like trying to find a FA who hasn't signed with the Yankees this year. You're lucky you got a reply before spring training started.

You forgot to mention: Why in the name of Happy Chandler would anyone want to press a button when 2K has all that swing stick and step-influence goodness? That's like getting box seats at Yankee Stadium and then watching the game on your laptop.

I have MVP 08 for the PC, just want to play a game on my 67 inch Samsung rather than in my study.

Well if the game might not be too great, but it's sure going to look BIG! Overall, 2K7 versus 2K8 is probably the way to go. Just be aware 2K7 needs some serious slider adjustments. Out of the box, it plays like about as realistic a game as Triple Play Baseball. 2K8 on the other hand has the new pitching system going for it, which might be of interest.
