Lack of info on this game is ridiculous. I'm already preparing to get a PS3. I can't go two years in a row without a great baseball game. I had enough fun with 2K8 but I always felt like I was forcing it.

I'm pretty sure the 2k ones were taken from the ps3, but I think I might go and check if RJ looks like that on the 360 version.


Edit: That picture was from the ps3, because the 360 version looks nothing like that.

Same here wow just wow. im really shock how horrible 2k8 looks and i played the game so many times. I dont know the player model were this horrible. After seeing my faith in 2k to bring a great baseball has diminish. To be honest i would be shock if 2k9 is close or can challenge the show for this year baseball game title.

that VC somehow makes enough money to continue to pay for MLB rights...How about Microsoft trying to pay to get MLB the show to cross platforms ? I hate the direction many sports games are taking..***sh it out and hopefully patch something while making the masses believe it will be better next year...it rarely is.

tyr this Pop in MLB 2K7 and play a inning or so look at how pretty it is and look at mlb 2k8 in my opinion they took a step back in all directions and facets

My biggest fear would have to be that they are going to design the controls TOO much towards casual players. I liked 2K8 once I got the hang of the controls, especially the swingstick 2.0, since it made it possible to pull/push the ball by pushing the right stick to the left or right, which made the resulting hit much less random than it was in 2K7.

The right stick fielding controls were also really good. I can't stand playing other games now where all you do is push a button to make a fielding throw and you can't aim or control the height of your throw

The pitching controls were decent, but could be improved for sure.

Basically I just hope the controls don't get any worse......

I agree with Baa about the Zone hitting worried about that one. Another thing that still makes my head hurt is the accuracy of throws weither infield and outfield to bases. I really hope that i cant throw a baseball from centerfield to home accurate or a matter of fact most bases from the outfield.

Really, it's not that hard to do in real life... but in general, I would like to see if there are any animations that are between an offline throw and an online throw, meaning they still have to move but that they aren't really jumping ten feet off course. We'll see.

I'm nervous that they won't have caught and fixed some of the "little" things, like the fact that I had to sign a player every time I DLed someone, and then cut a player when they returned from the DL.

well this happened in NBA 2K9 where there was no info until like 2 weeks before release and it ended up being a **** fest of a game.

While I would agree with you on a console that cant produce awesome graphics and is only $130. Agreed, but we are talking hundreds of dollars on a consoles that can produce gameplay and sweet graphics ya know?
