    Sliders Not Saving

Sorry if this has been posted before but in my MLB 2k8 (XB360) franchise I am using SFG's sliders. The problem is after I play a few games I will goto look at the sliders and it will be changed to custom-p and if I put it back on all-star they will reset. Why won't the sliders keep?

    Re: Sliders Not Saving

It's a known issue, and someone is bound to show up here and tell you the solution. I just forget what it is, sorry. Think it has to do with saving each page of sliders when the alert box comes up and asks if you what to save them.

Try an advanced search BTW. You're bound to find the answer.

        Here:

Before you make any changes to your sliders pass through all the headers "Player General Options"- "AI pitching Options" via rt/lft trigger and when they prompt you to save hit no...no...no...no. Once you can pass through all the headers without the prompt your golden just make wahtever changes you need and save...your all set. Wierd little glitch though this is.

I think I'm still a bit confused on this. When I first goto difficulty and cycle through the 4 screens it doesn't ask me if I want to save the changes.

You must set the Sliders once your Franchise has been created already. You cannot create the sliders 1st. Save them & think they will carry over once you start your Franchise. That doesn't work.

I think you have to make some change, in order to get the prompt. After that you go through the steps as outlined.

Here's what I would do. Go into the sliders. On the first screen, make one obvious change -- move the top slider to 0 or something. Now follow the save instructions as outlined. Save the sliders and exit the game. Start the game up again, load the saved sliders, go to the first screen and see if your saved sliders stuck, or if they reverted back to default.

Ok so after I go through the 4 screens hitting NO and I'm back to the "Human" tab, I change it to All-Star and then makes my changes, hit the RT button and select "Yes" to save changes and goto the AI tab. It says custom-A now. Do I keep this at custom-A and make my changes or do I need to change it to All-Star and make the changes?

Also, does it matter that I'm doing this inside of my franchise?

Yes these changes must be done inside of your franchise.

If the directions say start @ All Star them move the difficulty to All-Star & begin tweaking the sliders from All-Star. After you tweak each section hit YES when it ask you to save.

To know if you've done it correctly, when you get back to the Human Game play Section, just keep hitting the R Trigger, it should just keep moving thru the menus with out asking you to save. When this happens the sliders have been saved correctly
