It should be in this year's game, but no one knows yet. Playable minor leagues were one of last year's marquee features and it would be a joke if they abandoned the feature for 2K9. Stranger things have happened with new development teams, though.
It'd be great to see minor league stadiums in this year (especially Coca Cola Field in Buffalo) but I'd rather see good gameplay than minor league stadiums any day of the week.Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

One of the preview articles mentioned that you could skip minor leagues in franchise mode if you wanted to so it sounds like they will be back this year.Comment

I wonder if they could answer the question as to why the Single A team hasn't been implimented in the game yet? Always wanted to know why. Game still looks cash, though, can't wait to play the demo.
