They're the ones who ended up doing Home Run King. I think it was pretty much the same game engine.

the issue with 2K2 was the dreadful AI that meant the computer always caught up a lead to make the game close. In an NL game the opposing pitcher would a ball on the edge for a homer if the CPU was down.

Once you learn how to hit on the highest level all games are 18-17.

I've only been playing 2k3 for 4 days but I love it and the sliders appear to eliminate AI issues like the one above.

I just bought ASB last week. Definitely like ASB better. It does have a learning curve, but it feels like baseball. One thing I definitely remember now about 2k2. It was the game that introduced me to the term "rubberband AI". You could be up 10 runs in the 5th and the game could be tied in the 9th. 2k1 was the better game for DC. It just doesn't feel like baseball when scores are double digits regularly.

I just reread this thread. You were talking about ASB 2004 right? If you were talking about last year's game, I may have to lean toward 2k2. ASB was BORING last year.
