    Haven't played MLB 2K in a years

Guys I haven't played the MLB 2K series in a few years, I've got a simple question.

Is it possible to play with simple controls? ie - I aim the bat and press the A button to swing, I select a pitch, aim it and pitch it?

Button hitting for sure. They'll probably include simple pitching controls again this year too since last years game had them.

Last year I only played the demo, I was turned off by how complex everything was.

Yeah last year's demo didn't have the simple control options but they were in the full game.

Yup. The control options are pretty deep. The easiest are "A" to swing ("X" on PS3) for hitting and the same for pitching (you just hold for how hard to throw or how much break you want and then time the release...it's very simple).

You can also choose to go to the more standard feilding controls as well. You can also add zone hitting to your "one button" hitting if you choose.

Plenty of control options in the 2K game. That's one of the things I like about it
