    Under-appreciated Addition: 2k SHARE!

One of the things people are overlooking is the addition of 2kShare to this game. Yea yeah, it's been added to NBA 2k9 and so forth. But I am SOOOO glad it's been added to this game.

Now I can download people's sliders and implement them into my franchise. Does anyone remember how ANNOYING it was counting the clicks every time you had to set your sliders in your franchise? Not only did you have to do it EVERY single time you started a franchise, but they didn't even give you the courtesy of putting numbers on the sliders. WOW that took a long time.

AND most importantly the rosters. I would LOVE to get all minor leaguers names on the game. But no way am I going to spend the time doing it all myself. But I am sure there will be people out there that will not only make MLB player adjustments, but name all minor league players as well. Looking forward to downloading those!

Should be a good feature. EA allows file sharing in some of their games (NCAA bball), and it's pretty handy for rosters and the like.

Yea this IS huge. For basketball its a nice feature, but for baseball...given the 25 man teams, and minor leagues, its a godsend for roster purposes.

The counting slider clicks is super annoying too. I never understood why the wouldn't just tell you the number. Who knows though...it may be changed w/ VC as their NBA titles give a number.

Man, I sure hope so. Changing sliders in 2K8 was a chore, but a breeze in 2K7. Why Kush removed the numbers is beyond comprehension.

Hopefully someone will do them like Knight does The Show

2K Share is a wonderful baseball addition. I agree on all points, particularly in regards to roster updating. I'm uninformed on the who's who in the baseball forums here, but I hope someone like PortlandBlazer and Nogster from the 2K Basketball Roster Forum exists. They have done a wonderful job with not only current roster updates (ratings, trades, free agents, accessories) but also with the inclusion and creation of classic teams. That'd be awesome if someone here had legitimate knowledge to create a few classic clubs.

                Re: Under-appreciated Addition: 2k SHARE!

How is this underappreciated? I think it's expected. We've had the ability to share rosters since XBox 1. NHL 2K9 screwed the pooch on this one when other 2K games before it were doing it. It should be a given.

Well I just mean, everyone is mentioning all these features such as change in swing stick, pitching mechanics and so forth. Maybe overlooked is the better word.
