Silly Question - Are there active scoreboards?

It has always bothered me that the scoreboard couldn't track of the current game. I don't care if out of town scores are correct.

Real time scoreboards from the current game were in 2k8, either on the jumbo tron or on manual scoreboards in some parks (Safeco, Fenway etc). The out of town scoreboards weren't in until hopefully this year. Screenshot #58 gives some hope for this (look at Fenway where the scoreboard is blank and also on the elevated scoreboard in CF.) Also refer to the earlier ratings screenshot of Chase Utley where Citizen Bank's RF scoreboard is blank (rather than pasted fake scores)

I thought they had real time scoreboards in 2K8 at least for the current game (I know out of town games were goofed)?

I read yesterday about the question on score boards? Did they say no numbers on the out of town boards at all or are there goin to be scores but not updated. at least show us some visual representation?

Seems weird to not see anything?

I would say this is a glitch?

So you're saying rather than everything being blank like the Fenway & Wrigley screen shots, they were only temporarily blank, possibly because the coding for active scoring still isn't done?

Yeah, I also really like real time scoreboards in sports games. I can see why others wouldn't care, but it really adds to the atmosphere for me.

ASB had real time out of town scores as far back as '03 (maybe earlier??). That series certainly had it's issues, but they sure nailed some of nuances of the game.
