I loved the Gomez catch in the highlight reel, but did anybody else notice the commentary referred to him as "Gomz"? Odd.

Definite day one purchase for me.

These videos look great! VC has pulled a rabbit out of a hat! Great first effort!

My only request would be to be able to watch the flight of the ball on home runs.
I always like to use 2K3 as the best example for exciting looking home runs.

Can't wait to get this beautiful game! The DNA face Tool looks intriguing....

I shockingly agree. The real-time atmosphere is simply incredible, and makes never want to deal with predetermined cut scenes again.

In one of the IGN video, Ortiz fouls off a pitch and steps out the batters box. There's a cut to a press box style view, where you see his sig style continuing and players fidgeting. The presentation overhaul - in just one year - is nothing short of amazing.

The MLB series is in great hands, and gamers may now get two great games to choose from. It's a win-win!

I was certainly skeptical but the video has won me over.

I know going in the game won't be perfect but again for a first year effort. Wow. Haven't been positive about the 2k baseball series in a looong time.

Just watch as the batters hit the ball, drop the bat, make the out, jog back to the dug out and the bat boy goes to get the bat! Wow!

i watched the highlight reel and it looked pretty good, hope he had the power slider at default or jacked up because there were an awful lot of opposite field shots. Gary Thornes broadcasting is even better than what the show has, he really gets into it doesn't sound scripted at all, i loved the throw it back on some of the hrs. that were hit.

I like his voice better and the way he delivers some of his lines. It was much needed for this game that has had to deal with the terrible commentary for so long.

I still think The Show's commentary trounces this game though, judging from the video's alone.

The Show has a cutscene of it. It basically shows a close-up of the outfielder with the ball landing next to him, and him jogging over to pick it up.

It would be sweet to see it happen in real time in this game though. That would be a cool little detail adding to the already awesome real world stuff that 2K is doing.

Relax, man. At least they took the time to listen to you guys and provide the videos in the first place. You can't expect anything more than that.

Besides, what "program" does GCHD have to "get wit"? They make their own rules.

I see they finally have road alternate uniforms this year. The Astros and Braves were wearing gray pants on the road. I'm still a lil disappointed that the DBACKS were on the road and had white pants. Oh well still is an upgrade from years passed which is good. Love the videos
