I'm glad they fixed the flapping jerseys

No more flapping jerseys that look like flags the way they ripple so much like in 2k7 and 2k8. In past games they looked like the players were playing in 100mph wind, but not anymore

In past games they only looked like that in highly windy days, and most of the time (from my franchise stint with 2K7), it was uncommon to see them overly flap like in preview videos showing off the engine.

I miss the flap, and it made it feel more alive. Now it looks flat and papered on.

But more cuts to an aged engine to get 60FPS I suppose.

I completely agree. It added life and motion to the game. I'm gonna miss it. I also thought that the uni's looked flat almost painted on. Hopefully u will be able to fix that in the player edits. I am very big on fixing the players to make them look more like they do in real-life. I still have not seen long pants yet like the ones from the previous versions, but I guess I'll have to wait to get the game to really find out. I'm really hoping that baggy pants and shirts are still an option, as well as the cut sleeves undershirt which was in last years edition, but I have yet to see them in any video or screen. I'll just have to wait. Later

It was good on windy days, but it seemed like EVERY game was played in a tornado.

I liked the concept, but it seemed like the jerseys would flap in every game I played.

If you played just exhibition, I think default was windy. In Franchise, I barely seen it.

It was a great try but a bit overdone too bad they couldnt make it more subtle.

I liked the effect when it was subtle, but most of the time it looked like you were standing in the middle of a hurricane. So I don't think I'll miss it.

I honestly don't get some of these comments. I'm wondering how many people actually ventured into franchise mode. It wasn't overdone at all during most games in franchise...only when it was windy. To each his own of course, but they didn't have to scrap the uniforms, it was the attempt at windy days that were the problem, IMO.

Oh well, it's moot anyway.

One year you guys are complaining that 2K should do something about the jerseys and the excessive flapping they do in windy games, now you guys are saying you miss them and wish they were back? I'd have to assume all of you would agree that if you had a choice between the current condition of the jerseys and what they were in years past you'd choose the current correct?

lol...relax. Who's complaining? There are only 3 of us who had anything positive to say about them. I would have liked them toned down overall, yes. I just didn't want them removed as I thought the cloth itself looked pretty realistic by comparison.

And no, if I had a choice between the current condition and the way 2K7's looked, I would choose 2K7 with ZERO hesitation. I'm sure I'm in the minority and that's ok (opinions vary of course), but I can assure you I was never on here complaining about them at any time either

Um, I've never seen uniforms flap much because they ARE snug. Maybe 20 years ago, and definitely 50 years ago, but these days, they can't flap.

I didn't like that the belly of the jersey would flap, but nothing else would. So, all in all, I'm happy that they just got rid of it as well
