Loading the game onto your 360 HD

Has anything been asked to the developers about loading MLB 2k9 onto your 360 HD and if that will help keep the game at 60fps?

I know NCAA 09 seems to run much better for me once I loaded it onto the HD, I'm hoping there is some optimization with MLB 2k9.

2K8 seemed to run better from the hard drive as well. Load times were definitely faster too.

i hope this will make it better, by the looks of the gameplay videos, it still looks like there are major framerate issues like last year. Pretty dissapointing

what are you talking about? the gameplay looks pretty smooth to me.

on the pitch delivery vids, it looks like there are some hiccups when the ball leaves the pitcher's hand. This alone kinda ruined it for me last year, trying to hit gave me a headache

That's good to hear, I got rid of 2k8 before the Xbox Live update.

I'm definitely installing this game into 360 hard drive. I put 2K8 onto HD for giggles, and it had less hiccups at the end of the game when showing game replays.

Bring it on!

Installing MLB 2K8 on the hard drive definitely helped. Load times were shorter and the game ran a little (but not much) better.

I enjoy installing on the HD just to give the DVD drive a rest. I love when the 360 is running quietly while playing a game.

I know this is probaly a dumb question, but how do you load on the hard drive

1. Put in the disc and go to your dashboard
2. Scroll down to My Xbox
3. Scroll across to Game Library and hit the A button
4. This should put you on the Recent Games window and your game should be highlighted, so you should just need to hit the A button. Otherwise, scroll to the Recent Games window and choose the game.
5. On the game screen, choose Install to Hard Drive. This process should take a few minutes, but once it is complete, you'll be able to play from the hard drive.

2K7 also runs smothly when uploaded to the HD, you don't get the Loading screen & the throw arounds are slightyly longer.
