I have seen all the videos posted in this site, gamespot. ign, youtube, but NONE has the cpu trying to steal, this was the biggest problem on last year game, I cannot believe that this year they are releasing the game without fixing that terrible bug.

You speak of it as if you KNOW the bug is still in the game. The videos are not enough sample size to determine that... That's like me watching one inning of 4 different baseball games, seeing no steals and proclaiming stolen bases never happen.

Oh and ESPN video games has a (rarely updated) franchise blog about 2k9 where the writer stated Mike Cameron stole 2nd and 3rd the very first inning of the first game he played.

I don't think they are. One of the preview artricles on another site (can't remember which one, though I think it was ESPN) talked about the AI stealing.

I'm sure Steve would have mentioned it in his latest article if it was still an issue.
