    I miss 2K7

I had some extra time to burn so I popped in 2K7 last nite....wow - it was like seeing your ex- hot girlfried. This game had a lot going for it:

    - The graphics were incredible (yes I know it was only 30fps....but the gameplay was smooth, slowdown was minimal [on the 360 version] and the lighting was fantastic.)
    - Signature styles
    - Old school bllparks (vial DLC)
    - custom soundtracks (but not batter walkups)

I enjyed this game immensley. I almost wish the 2K9 effort was to improve upon this version rather than the abonimation we call 2K8. *sigh* A man can dream can't he?

If she's your ex-hot girlfriend, that would make her not hot any longer, and you still with her.

2K6 is the girl that you had the chance to go to the next level with but you froze everytime you had the opportunity.

2K7 is like the hot ex-girlfriend, but she never truly "put out."

2K8 is the next door neighbor girl who was willing to date you but had this weird twitch in her neck, and she also had a limp.

      2K9...
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

I played more of 2k7 (online league included) than any other baseball game. I will break that record with the other game this year!

2K7 was very well-received around OS around its time of release. I picked up a used copy a few weeks back and have really been enjoying it...hopefully 2K9 builds on the well-executed elements of 2K7 and avoids the mistakes in execution that riddled 2K8.

Regardless of complaints about frequent homers and saved game errors, I'd say 2K7 did pretty well.

I am actually spending 2 to 3 hours per team, to make my roster for 2k7. With a ton of trial and error I finally found the right slider combo and as stated above this game really excels in a lot of areas. 2k7 is the best visual game I have ever played, and I think I can create a great game out of it. That being said I waited a little while when editing until I saw enough videos for 2k9. So far it looks like a nice game but the graphics look like a downgrade from 2k7. I will wait and rent 2k9 before finishing my rosters. I have 9 teams done and the game and roster set I created plays great. So 2k9 would have to really be good for me to stop this project. In a weird way I kind of enjoy creating roster files, why I do not know. lol

Wow...I almost wish 2K9 sucks so you can continue your efforts with the updated roster
