    Empty stadiums?

Not empty, but half-filled....If my team sucks or its a blowout, will the stands always be filled? Or maybe weeknight games are less attended compared to a weekend series....any confirmation on this?

    Re: Empty stadiums?

I could have sworn I saw in at least one those videos a lot of empty seats.
I do remember them showing attendance figure of something like 37,000+ at Miller Park for start of Tigers-Brewers game. So if they're going to have attendance figures, I imagine they'd be consistent with how full the park looks.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

      There is dynamic attendance.
But I don't believe that fans will leave during a blowout game.

I assume that most of the videos we see are exhibition games where the attendance is always going to be high. It looks like in franchise mode how your team is doing, who they are playing, what day, etc will have effect on the attendance.

Hate to be redundant but does anyone know if there going to have people walking up and down the isle... or even vendors?

That's one of the reasons i ask since it was in that game, i guess we will have to see. Its a shame that a developer or someone couldn't answer that single question. its not a deal breaker but it adds a nice as you said it authentic look.

I remember in triple play 98, if you were playing a franchise and your team sucked - the stands were empty. I always thought that was cool...I'm assuming this is "progressive attendance?"

and I think those vendors and people walking up and down the aisles is what caused lagging in NBA 2k9 too...I wouldn't be too sad if they left it out of MLB 2k9 if that were the case...

Oh definitely, not that its a huge thing but i mean if that was the case for lag then get rid of it... just wish there was more answers about it, but oh well game comes out in a week.

Slightly related - I noticed that after Damon's HR off Beckett at Yankee Stadium, a lot of fans hadn't sat down yet while Jeter's AB was starting, and then they slowly sat down. Nice touch.

Its funny you say that cause i noticed it to... also one video i saw when a homerun was hit on the replay you can see the crowd slowly stand up to watch the ball go out i thought that was cool.
