Anyone interested in a PRESS BOX CAMERA VIEW?

FOlks...what I am amazed at is how much of the field is in view when Gary Thorne announces the infield position players and that graphic pop up comes up for all of the infielders. The camera angle of this view is pure retro video baseball game heaven. Those were the good ole days when the entire field was in view when the ball was hit into play!...I miss those days, I lore for those days once again and MLB teases us with this perfect view but only for presentation purposes to show us the fielder positions pop up cards!

AM I alone folks in wanting this as an extra camera Angle to be able to select in the game as my Fielding Cam??...Please tell me Im not.

How can we get the 2K team to add this view as an option into the game....YES!! (Marv Albert)

There are a few issues with this game that will probably keep me from purchasing it. The lack of a lower fielding view/cam is one. That's a huge problem for me.

Im sorry but i actually love the new fielding camera i love being able to see were all my players are at. Though i agree that there should always be more camera angles and i wouldnt be surprised if we saw a patch. I like it reminds me of 2k3 a bit.

why are you under the impression that everything can be done with a patch?

This is maybe the fifth thread about the poor camera view, and I'm still waiting for the ultimate broadcast view (much like you see in the replays for The Show). If an issue of the framerate suffering, I understand. I only hope they can fix it later down the road (either in a patch or 2K10).

If it's any consolation, they added the "Pole" Camera into 2K7 via a patch/update.

Re: Anyone interested in a PRESS BOX CAMERA VIEW?

This is great to know that its possible...Im just intrigued that Im one of the only few that would love this camera view.....

In the old High Heat games for the PC. I would edit the game registry files constantly until I found that perfect, press box view up in the bleachers behind home plate that allowed me to see a very nice tactical view of the whole field once the ball was put in play. That was really fun for me

It just seems so out of character for 2K to only allow you one fielding cam when their respective NBA 2K9 basketball game gives you an almost unlimited assortment of cameras along with all kinds of slider tweaks for each of them!

I would love this flexibility for MLB 2K9 as well
